Classes & Programs

The Art of Healing

Open to anyone in a medical situation, caregiver, survivor or person in need of reflective time, our Art of Healing program is offered monthly year round.

Our professional art facilitators offer creative instruction, appropriate for all artistic skill levels, in a relaxing and nurturing atmosphere. Projects focus on self-expression, growth, and healing, often with a meditative component.  Past projects have included mandalas for insight and joy journaling.

Art is a global language that allows all participants to communicate, overcome stress and explore feelings. This program is designed to give those who may be struggling with difficult health issues, a time and space to focus on the present moment, set an achievable intention, and accomplish it. Expressive activities like this promote confidence, and inspire hope by stepping away from everyday life for a moment to imagine what is possible.

Participation is open to all, and the program is free of charge!

Space is limited, therefore, ADVANCE REGISTRATION FOR THIS FREE PROGRAM IS REQUIRED.  To save your spot, call the museum at 386-676-3347 or sign up on our website (links will appear in the listing below when registration is open).
