The Guild of the Ormond Memorial Art Museum invites you to embark on this most enchanting journey! Throughout this extraordinary experience, OMAM will be transformed into a stage worthy of the Bard himself.
Guests will encounter a rich tapestry of fine art, literary inspiration, and interactive programming that brings this iconic era to life — all while raising critical funds to support the museum’s mission. From evocative exhibitions and engaging community programs to theatrical performances and lively gatherings, this season will celebrate the power of creativity to inspire, connect, and engage across generations.

The Renaissance Exhibit
Reception Gallery: October 10 - November 15, 2026
Experience the sights and sounds of the daily lives of peasants and nobility in the 1500s. In a sensory experience recreating the ambiance of the era, this exhibition will contain period costumes of the upper classes as well as the ordinary town folk, in an “upstairs, downstairs” style installation bringing Shakespeare’s world to life – an era that looms large in our imagination through the brilliance of The Bard and his many plays. This is a rare opportunity to escape the present and immerse yourself in a different time and place through Renaissance art, costume and culture.

This family-friendly, outdoor celebration will transform the OMAM Gardens. Wander through a magical setting of costumes, music, and whimsical surprises nestled among the pathways, fountains, and blooms! Kiddos can make fun accessories in our Kraft Kingdom and compete in fun tournament games. Attendees will also enjoy performances by Pete the Magician, Daytona Playhouse, and Acoustic Tapestry. We'll have character meet and greets (with photo opportunities) throughout the day with very special guests including Mermaid Traci and Lunette the Sign Language Fairy. Plus, the littles can enjoy story time with our friends from the Early Learning Coalition of Flagler & Volusia.

Fairy House Viewing & Voting Info
People's Choice
Starting October 21, OMAM visitors have the opportunity to vote for their favorite house. One free ballot is given with museum admission. Additional ballots can be purchased for $1 in the gift shop. To cast your ballot, write the number of your favorite house and place it inside the Fairy House Ballot Box (located on the museum's front desk).
The People's Choice Award will be announced after the Thou Art performance on Sunday, Nov. 15. Makers do not need to be present to win. The winner will be contacted by staff and will receive a crystal fairy ball.
Poster Art Contest Winner: Veronica Winters

Through figurative oil paintings and colored pencil art, Veronica Winters invites viewers into a mystical realm. Using color, form, and symbolism, she explores the profound interconnectedness of all living things in the universe. Her visionary art is an attempt to capture the ethereal beauty, radiant light, and magical power of the Divine, bringing it into our earthly reality as a counterforce to darkness. As a reflection of the Creator, the artist recreates the sincere beauty in our lives, envisioning a world reborn as a vibrant, light-filled, and heart-centered world. Born in Russia, Winters is a Florida-based portrait artist, instructor, and book author who is nationally recognized for her colored pencil drawing with the publication of the art instruction books – The Colored Pencil Manual and How to Color Like an Artist by Dover Publications, NY. Veronica’s art and writing have been published in numerous magazines and art books, including Strokes of Genius, Leisure Painter, Colored Pencil Magazine, Guide Artists, the American Art Collector, the Color, and the International Artist Magazine. The artist studied art at OSU (BFA), Penn State (MFA), the Grand Central Academy of Art, and the Art Students League in New York.
