Frequently Asked Questions for Event Rentals

What are the hours we will have at the venue?

Based on the time of your event, you will have an hour before and after the scheduled event time for setup and break down.  Any other time outside of that will have to be scheduled with the event coordinator. 

Can we choose our own vendors? 

We do have a list of recommended vendors we will provide upon booking with us, however; if there is someone else you would like to use, we just need to approve and make sure they are insured and licensed.  

Will there be a point of contact for the Ormond Memorial Art Museum at every event? 

Yes, our rental events coordinator will be there to deal with any vendor questions, parking, and clean up.  We do require that every wedding have a professional or declared day of coordinator. 

Is there a backup plan for rain or inclement weather for the rooftop? 

Yes, the reception galleries would be used in place of the rooftop. 

Are there any décor restrictions? 

Yes, we do not allow any flames, or items mounted on the walls or ceiling.  Along with loose items such as glitter, confetti, rice, artificial flowers etc. However, artificial petals may be used indoors. 

Who is responsible for cleaning up at the end of an event? 

We include janitorial services and venue clean up once catering clears tables and your coordinator has removed all décor from the room. Our events coordinator will schedule a walk through/timeline to go over every vendor’s responsibility to ensure a smooth close out process. 

Does the museum offer table and chairs? 

Yes, have 100 white formal padded folding chairs along with 5ft round tables, 8ft and 6ft oblong tables.  We have black linens that may be used free of charge, any other décor or color linens will have to be proved but the client.  We do have a limited color selection of linens that can be rented. 

Do you have chairs for outside in the gazebo? 

Yes, we do rent our chairs for an outside set if booking the gazebo.  $100 for 50 or less chairs or $200 for 50 or more chairs.   

May I serve alcohol at my event? 

Yes, all alcohol must be purchased through the Ormond Memorial Art Museum 

Can I have a DJ or band for my event? 

Yes, that is allowed, however all music must be done by 10pm due to sound ordnance.  

How late may I stay? 

Guests and vendors must be out by 11pm.
