Honoring Our War Heroes
OMAM was founded in 1946 as a tribute to creative freedom and those who fought valiantly to defend it. Many local World War II veterans participated in building the galleries and clearing the land for the gardens.
The Museum and Gardens are home to beautiful commemorative plaques and sculptures that pay tribute to our brave US war veterans.
