OUR POLICIES

Visitor Filming/Photography for Personal Use

Visitors to the Ormond Art Museum & Gardens are encouraged to take photographs and shoot videos in the Gardens for personal use. Personal photographs and videos are not to be used for commercial purposes. Once inside the Museum galleries, photography is permitted in the Malcolm Fraser gallery only. NO photography or video is permitted in the main galleries. Please note that flash photography or video is not permitted in any gallery.

Professional & Amateur Portraits + Filming for Personal Use

Professional or amateur photographers conducting business and taking photos for engagements, maternity, quinces, graduation and other life event must make a reservation and pay a fee to the Museum. Photo sessions in the Gardens must be conducted during regular garden hours from sunrise to sunset. Photo backdrops, props, and lights are not permitted in the gardens outside normal operating hours. Photo sessions inside the Museum are to be conducted during regular Museum hours and must make a reservation and pay a fee with the rental events department. Please note that photo sessions are not a member benefit. Professional Filming/Photography for Commercial Use

Photographs and videos are not to be used for any commercial purposes without authorization. Professional photographers or filmmakers taking photos for promotional commercial use must contact the Rental Events Department in advance before filming or photography of any kind.

Requests will be approved on a case-by-case basis, OMAM reserves the right to refuse any project. The Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens will not allow any implied or actual endorsement of a product, institution or ideology.

Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens Photography Policy

While on the grounds, visitors may be photographed by OMAM photographers, and these images and likeness therein may be used for the purpose of promoting the Museum & Gardens. You may choose to opt out by informing the photographer.
