The Ormond Memorial Art Museum is celebrating Christmas in July!

Join us in our gift shop between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, July 25, to get special discounts and to purchase a one-of-a-kind fused glass ornament handmade by members of the OMAM Guild.

Inside the museum, be sure to also check out our amazing summer art exhibition in the main galleries and search the first floor for our hidden elf to participate in the scavenger hunt!

This special event at OMAM is held in conjunction with the 9th Annual Christmas in July festivities organized by Ormond Mainstreet.

Worldwide Day of Play

Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026 | 10:00am - 4:00pm

Come experience joyful discovery through play at this FREE event in our Granada Pavilion Courtyard. This outdoor, dedicated early-learning space is stocked with interactive items.

Visitors will be able to build using colorful stacking blocks, create a masterpiece at one of the mini art stations, grab a book and leaf cushion and find a shady spot to read, and make music with drums, xylophones, and other instruments.

Day of Play is part of a global initiative launched by Nickelodeon and the Association of Children's Museums to get kids OUTSIDE to play.

As part of our 80th Anniversary celebration, we've scheduled a special week of fun and free events at OMAM to serve as both a thank-you and a tribute to the community of members who continue to inspire and sustain our legacy of art, nature, and honoring those who fought for freedom.

In addition to daily complimentary programming, members can enter to win two tickets to OMAM’s signature annual fundraiser, Art in the Garden — the Museum’s highly anticipated spring celebration featuring art, entertainment, culinary delights, and community spirit in the botanical gardens. One entry per person per day please.

Please join us to celebrate the holiday season! At 4:00pm in the Garden Gazebo, the St. James Ringers will play holiday songs. Guests are encouraged to walk the garden paths and enjoy the joyful melodies.

All ages are welcome to attend this free community event!

ABOUT THE HANDBELL CHOIR:

The St. James Ringers are a volunteer ensemble that rehearses once a week and plays about once a month for the worship service at St. James. They are an enthusiastic and joyful group who enjoy making music together for God.
