Free Family Art Night
Free Family Art Night is a popular, monthly program scheduled the first Friday of each month and usually scheduled to coordinate with the free, family-friendly movie shown outdoors at The Casements. The two programs offer a stimulating evening to families for no charge in the heart of downtown Ormond Beach.
Virtual Session: April 3rd
Michelle Davidson, local artist and OMAM team member, will demonstrate how to make Crazy Paper! Using video, she'll show you how to transform items from around your house into a piece of art, using glue and your imagination. We'll post this special online tutorial on our website and social media channels at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2020.
Crazy Paper Supplies!
Gather the supplies listed below before Friday to be ready to create!
Large white or black trash bag
Bottle of Elmer’s glue or Mod Podge
Paint brush (preferably 2-3 inch)
Mixed media materials you find around your house (flat recycled materials, tissue paper, magazine clippings, fabric pieces, string, beads, glitter, screen, etc.)
Large, flat work surface, like the kitchen table
No art experience required and all are welcome!
Adults drop in with their children between 6 and 7:30 PM, and work together to create a fanciful project under the direction of our art instructor. The art program takes place rain or shine. The outdoor movies are weather dependent.
Free Family Art Night is a drop in program, not a class.
Free Family Art Night is presented in part by The Aaron Delgado Family and the Myrna Fux Charitable Trust.
