Art Programs & Classes For Veterans
Since being founded as a tribute to artistic freedom and those who defend it in 1946, the Museum and Gardens has had a special bond with veterans.
All veterans have access to scholarship support for our art education programs and classes thanks to generous support from the Wells-Fargo Foundation and AdventHealth Hospice.
To initially sign up to receive the 100% scholarship, please be prepared to show either Military ID Card, V.A. Health Care Card, DD 214 or Driver's License with Veteran Designation.
Call to Artists! As part of the our mission to inspire with art and nature while honoring those who defend our freedoms, we are curating a special exhibit to feature art by veterans and military family members. Submissions can be in a variety of art mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, woodworking, pottery, glass, quilting, fiber arts, poetry, video and more.
