I’m always looking for inspiration in nature and my surroundings. This piece was inspired by cracked concrete in the roads, the sidewalks and driveways I walk on. The patterns are interesting and sometimes very inspiring. The grid speaks to the maps of the towns I’ve wandered in. This is wet felted, needle felted with pencil drawing. It is made with merino wool using the “Cracked Mud Resist” method.
