Artist Talk with Bobbi Baugh
Please join artist Bobbi Baugh for a gallery talk about her work, which is part of OMAM’s “Stitched, Stamped & Sculpted: A Collection of Florida Fiber Art” exhibit. Bobbi will discuss artmaking in two parts: first, what the artist is interested in communicating; second, the methods and techniques they use to do that communicating. Textile artworks draw on the traditions of sewing and quilt making plus painting, printmaking, mixed media and specialized surface design (such as the incorporation of photos.) Bobbi will discuss how these relate to her own work and also as it applies to others in the show. Guests are invited to ask questions following the talk.
