  discuss artmaking in two parts: first\, what the artist is interested in 
 communicating\; second\, the methods and techniques they use to do that co
 mmunicating. Textile artworks draw on the traditions of sewing and quilt m
 aking plus painting\, printmaking\, mixed media and specialized surface de
 sign (such as the incorporation of photos.)  Bobbi will discuss how these 
 relate to her own work and also as it applies to others in the show. Guest
