"The drawings are inspired by real events, war films, science fiction and other media. They are layered with ink / watercolor washes and lines in an effort to give the forms a sense of dimension and physicality. I am inspired by the military drawings by Leonardo da Vinci, perspective studies by Paolo Uccello, and illustrations by Ron Cobb."
