2026 Summer Camps at OMAM

Summer camps at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum are run by experienced instructors with a small teacher/student ratio that provides a unique and a high-quality program you won't find just anywhere! Our campers will explore a variety of mediums as they create multiple art projects coordinating with the week's super fun theme.
Summer camp registration will open to the public at 10:00am Monday, Feb. 23, BUT current OMAM members will have early access starting Monday Feb. 16, 2026!
Parents can sign up their children for one or multiple of these unique art adventures listed below:
For Ages 9-14

June 8-12, 2026
Young creators will spend the week learning how to incorporate writing and art to develop a one-of-a-kind personalized journal. On day one campers will make their own sketchbook, which will be used throughout the week to record journal notes, poetry, stories and illustrations. Sketchbook journaling is an important component in exercising the imagination.

June 15-19 2026
Go under the sea in this magical camp where you’ll create sparkling accessories and shimmering artwork. Design your own crown and jewelry, create with paint, clay, and tie-dye, and even meet a Live Mermaid!

From plaster to paint to polymer clay, campers will create a collection of unique wildlife-themed art pieces inspired by real artists and unforgettable memories.

July 6-10, 2026
Sculpt a magical character with plaster, create a miniature storybook, and experiment with painting, clay, and much more! Dress like your favorite magical creature on the last day and take photos with new friends!

July 13-17, 2026
Put on your aprons and chef hats and imagine the unlimited and flavorful possibilities! Work with a variety of materials to create sponge cake slices, clay donuts, and other exciting 2D & 3D creations. At the end of the week, goodies will be placed in dessert packaging.

Let your love of animals inspire you this week and create 2D and 3D art inspired by your favorite pets! Whether you love cats, dogs, or hedgehogs, this camp is for you! Don’t have a pet? No problem, now’s your chance to create one! Dress like your favorite pet on the last day and take photos with new friends!

July 27-31, 2026
Craft flexible bracelets and sparkling earrings using an exciting array of art supplies like colorful seed beads, polymer clay, shimmering charms, and more! Whether making nature-inspired pieces or experimenting with vibrant designs, every camper will leave with a collection of one-of-a-kind jewelry.

Each camp runs Monday through Friday, starting at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12 noon. Sessions are held inside OMAM classroom, as well as inside the magical OMAM Gardens! Please pack a snack and a drink for break time each day.
Tuition
Summer Camp Tuition (per week) is $150 for museum members and $165 for future members. Spots are filled on a first-come, first served basis so don't wait to register!
Scholarship Info
Thanks to a generous donation by local artist Pamela Bleakney, we’re able to offer 14 FREE seats at our super-popular summer camps!
Parents receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) are eligible to apply for this 100% tuition assistance by presenting their EBT card and a photo ID. To start the process, please email kheron@ormondartmuseum.org.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Requests for refunds must be made in writing three (3) weeks prior to the start of a session. You will be issued a refund, minus a $15 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after that time. OMAM reserves the right to cancel any sessions if enrollment is insufficient. In this case, tuition will be refunded in full.
Health Protocols:
- Hand sanitizer will be provided.
- Workshops will be limited to 20 students. (The Summer Creativity Workout is limited to 12)
- Classrooms will be cleaned and sanitized prior to camp.
- Please bring your own water bottle and snack.
- Please keep your camper home if they are sick and call the Museum if your camper is not able to attend.
