Reimagined: Collage & Mixed Media on Wood with Priscilla Humay
Create with scraps and take it to the level of fine art. You may have precious scraps or small objects that you want to keep because they hold memories or are fun stuff that you just cannot throw away. Ticket stubs, photos, pieces of cloth, small objects, twigs, leaves, torn, treasured bits of paper could all be used and contained as you create a finished artwork. Bring them and express your individual style. Apply colored pencil directly to the wood, over collaged scraps, and enhance with acrylic paint. Lineco and Matt Medium are the glues. Learn composition by creating with your “stuff”, and the mediums on a wood surface. The finished piece requires no frame. All acrylics and mediums are compatible. All levels of students welcome!
