First Saturday Ormond Art Walk: Krissy Kay Pop-Up
Make OMAM one of your stops during the First Saturday Ormond Art Walk to meet our featured pop-up artist, Krissy Kay, and see her exhibit in our reception gallery. At 5:00pm, the artist will give a gallery talk.
“My creative process is a practice of presence and surrender. I never begin with a plan-just a willingness to listen. The canvas speaks, and I follow, responding through layers of form, texture, and color. Ripping, sewing, burning, and rebuilding mirror the inner work of being human-of breaking down and becoming again. Each piece holds a story not told but felt, shaped by intuition, memory, and what lingers beyond language. In the act of making, I tap into something timeless and essential: a truth that doesn't ask to be explained, only witnessed. My work isn't about offering answers-it's about holding space for the beautiful, unfiltered mess of it all."
Admission to Art Walk is always FREE, and you can ride the complimentary shuttle to visit all stops. Beer and wine will be available for purchase inside the museum.
