Mini Cactus Pinatas

These mini cactus pinatas would make the perfect decoration for a home Cinco de Mayo celebration!

SUPPLIES

• cereal box
• tape
• pencil
• scissors
• glue
• tissue paper

STEPS

1. Draw two matching cactus shapes on a cereal box, cut out
2. Cut out a few strips of cardboard, about one inch wide
3. Create an armature: tape the one inch strips around the edge of the cactus
4. Tape the other cactus on top
5. Cut strips of tissue paper into fringe
6. Use glue to cover the cactus with fringe, starting at the bottom
7. Crumple some tissue into tiny flowers - glue on top of the cactus
8. Cut a trap door in the bottom if you want to fill with treats
