Wayfinding Ribbon Cutting

Join OMAM and the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce for a special ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official unveiling of the plans for our new garden wayfinding and accessibility features! These exciting additions will include 22 identification markers with scientific or historical information, a raised iconograph image, and a QR code providing audio recordings.
The careful design of each of the signs was purposeful to reach sight-impaired visitors and to better engage with visitors of all ages. The project will also include a turtle feeding and educational kiosk at the large turtle sanctuary pond, which will educate all visitors of the importance of proper environmental management, as well as a custom designed and fabricated butterfly bench placed at the butterfly migration viewing zone.
