Encaustic Painting Demo in the Gazebo with Anne Kneller
Stop by the Gazebo on Thursday, Feb. 2 (11am to 12:30pm), for an encaustic, aka "hot wax painting," live demonstration by Anne Kneller. Encaustic is a both a painterly and sculptural medium that uses a blend of hot beeswax and oil pigments. Anne will show how the paint is heated, applied, and manipulated using a variety of common tools with astonishing results. Expect to be dazzled by this intriguing process. This program is FREE, but registration is encouraged.
