"Agape, the Love that Devours" by Christine Broussard, Acrylic, 12x24
not for sale
"There are three Greek words to describe LOVE. Eros, Filos, and Agape. In this painting Agape demonstrates total love, difficult to describe as you have to live it. This painting shows the passion that renders everything else to lose its importance. Agape is more than to agree, it is a feeling that invades you and makes whatever feelings of aggressivity dissolve into dust."
-
"African Dik-Dik" by Terrie Gray, Watercolor, 21x17

-

-
"Sisters Treasure" by Maureen Mcleod, Acrylic, 22x28

"Welcome Home" by Jill Bright, Oil, 18x24
not for sale
"Jack is a rescue. We were not looking for nor did we need a 3rd dog. Sitting in his cage, where someone had dyed what little hair he had left pink, I could not pass him by. The reward has been ours. His love, devotion and constant companionship have won our hearts. With Jack around it is always 'Welcome Home'."
-
"Magnolia Plantation Visitors" by Lois Berardi, Watercolor, 11x14
not for sale
"The setting for my reference photo is located just outside of Charleston. We love to explore gardens when visiting an area. This watercolor painting represents my love for painting people in candid poses. I like the interesting movement of the couple in the background but the “love” in this painting is Daniel, the focal point."
-
"Luxembourg Gardens Lady" by Lois Berardi, Watercolor, 11x14
$360
"Upon our first day in Paris we were recovering from jetIag by walking in the Luxembourg Garden. I was impressed with the confidence this Frenchwoman showed in her choice of clothes and her relaxed pose. It seemed she loved being in her spot reading the paper and enjoying the view. I felt like I knew this stranger or at least wanted to meet her. She had style and a presence. As an artist I look for scenes that inspire and capture my imagination. When this happens it brings out a love of painting and celebration of the person even though they have no knowledge of the feelings."
-
"Bathing Beauties" by Lois Berardi, Watercolor, 11x14
$360
"The theme of love is depicted in this watercolor painting in a very subtle manner. The women are in a place of beauty, surrounded by nature yet in the comfort of a safe home. The painting isn’t necessarily about love, as I don’t know if these women even like each other, but what I love is the beauty in each of them, their environment, and their good fortune to be in that place, at that moment."
-
"Edgartown Couple" by Lois Berardi, Acrylic, 12x12
$150
"The setting for this painting was Edgartown, MV. The couple conversing in such a relaxed pose drew my attention. Their relationship is unknown but it’s easy to imagine some level of intimacy as part of the dynamic…maybe even love! When I take photos of people I am searching for the emotion. Because most of my photos are taken with the hope of inspiring a painting, I usually am seeking a closeness or a feeling. I’m fascinated by people and my art is way of expressing my love for not only beautiful settings like Martha’s Vineyard, but for our ability to connect."
-
"20 Minutes" by NC Hagood, Mixed Media, 36x30
$600
"Is about hugs and love. Between mother and children. All in a tender encirclement. The feeling of protection for her children. Keeping them close and near. A love like no other impossible to explain but easy to feel."
-
"Grasshoppers" by NC Hagood, Mixed Media, 40x40
$800
"While one day watching children playing I was touched by the loving way they were interacting. Hopping along, following each other with no care in their minds. In love with the moments and enjoying each other. It filled me with adoration and when I painted this piece I strived to capture these feelings."

-
"Ravages of the Heart" by Kelley Batson-Howard, Acrylic, 48x30
$1,200
"Ravages of the Heart is my abstract interpretation of heart break and loss in love. It was actually inspired by a friend’s loss of a son. It represents the losses we encounter in this world when we give our heart away in love and connection. Our hearts are fragile and can be broken because we love and give it away to others. This one represents the slashes and calluses formed over our heart over a lifetime-the pain incurred and the attempts at healing."
-
"Treasures of the Heart I" by Kelley Batson-Howard, Acrylic, 24x20
$500
"Treasures of the Heart I is the first of a group of paintings that were created using cards given to me by my two daughters over the years. I’ve always saved any card they gave me and I decided to incorporate them into my artwork instead of letting them sit in a drawer to collect dust. Each piece represents the love they have given to me, their Mom. Each one represents their journeys of love and the joy each has brought me as their lives bloom. Love is stamped on each piece by incorporating their love for me into each piece. I give it to you by sharing my treasures with you."
-
"Treasures of the Heart II" by Kelley Batson-Howard, Acrylic, 24x20
$500
"Treasures of the Heart II is the second of a group of paintings that were created using cards given to me by my two daughters over the years. Each piece represents the love they have given to me, their Mom. Each one represents their journeys of love and the joy each has brought me as their lives bloom. Love is stamped on each piece by incorporating their love for me into each piece. I give it to you by sharing my treasures with you."

"The Heart of Christmas" by Walter Osteen, Oil, 16x20
not for sale
Illustration and verse are from my surf culture children's book: The Cowabunga Way

it's the love behind the present,
not the present, not the toy. -
"Dolphin Love" by Jill Marsh, Acrylic on Canvas, 16x20
not for sale
"Dolphins… just about everyone loves them. From the delighted surprise when we catch a glimpse of a fin peaking through the water, or the excitement when one unexpectedly leaps into the air. We stop for a moment, sometimes sharing with complete strangers in the happy wonder of these joyful souls. They magically take us out of our heads and into our hearts. This is the beautiful light and love of the dolphin."

not for sale
"Done in 1981 as part of my first show at Fischbach Gallery in New York City, these two paintings “Myrtle” and “Elaine” were done from the rooftop deck on MacDougal Alley in Greenwich Village, where I lived for many years and loved every minute. These paintings express the love I felt and continue to feel for Elaine de Kooning, my mentor and Myrtle Touchton Dasher, my aunt."

"Morning After Launch" by Jim Touchton, Watercolor & Pastel on Paper, 31x38

-
"Generations" by Barb Forristall Scapin, Acrylic, 20x20
not for sale
"The purpose of life is to reproduce. This allows a species to carry on from one generation to the next. Another aspect of love is compassion we need compassion to help this magical creature continue to exist. Humans are the biggest threat to survival of manatee. Some examples of this are boaters who injure them with their motor propellers often to the point of death. We pollute the water ways with trash and chemicals causing pollution of their habitat that also kills their food supply. These gentle giants have endured despite the many challenges we give them but we can do better to protect this species so they last for generations to come. In this piece a mother and calf are swimming away into the distance. Are they swimming into a future or are they swimming into extinction? There are more evident brush strokes that allow the three colors of blue, green and white to mute together creating a sense of wonder; where are they headed into memory or into a better existence? Humans hold their fate in their hearts. Let love guide us to be better stewards of our natural treasures by protecting these gentle giants."
-
"Mother’s Love" by Barb Forristall Scapin, Acrylic, 36x24
not for sale
"As a child grows inside a Mother’s womb a bond is created. This bond is love in its purest form for the Mother wants nothing more than to protect her child as they prepare them to exist in the world in which they are born. Though manatees do not have many defenses, a mother would die to protect her calf but this is not the best thing since the bulls do not have paternal instincts leaving the Mother cow alone to care for her calf so without her the calf has a slim chance of survival. In this piece a Mother munches on sea grass while baby attempts to suckle. Manatees are very devoted to their young nursing them for up to two years. The wet on wet technique allows for the colors of blue and green to blur together to give an illusion of depth. The use of white allows the subjects to pop off the canvas. The sea grass has a sense of movement as if it were swaying in the waters currents."
-
"Lovebirds" by Deborah Boyd, Acrylic on Canvas, xx14
$125
"I have a love affair with flamingos. What’s not to love? They are bursting with color, and they are graceful, yet aristocratic. To me, they have always symbolized love. How many times have you seen a pair seemingly look into each other’s eyes while their willowy necks form a familiar heart? I painted this because it makes me smile. I hope it brings a smile to your face as well."
-
"Heavenly Sunset" by Donna Lovelace-Flora, Photography, 20x16 (framed 23x16)
$275
"It is said that that the greatest love in existence is God’s love. God’s glory is expressed in Nature and as God IS love, so Nature IS love. I feel this love enveloping me when I am watching the colors of a sun set unfold over the river. It nurtures and energizes my soul and whole being as if God is holding and hugging me. I’m blessed to live within walking distance of both the ocean and the river, and as such I get to experience some stunning Florida sunsets. My friend Karen says sunsets are portals to Heaven. Others say they are so enrapturing because they are God’s signature on the sky: his message of Love. Sunsets are special to me for they seem as if God is beaming his amazing Love throughout the heavens here on Earth, and right down to me on the edge of the river."
-
"Love in Bloom" by Donna Lovelace-Flora, Photography, 12x24 (framed 15x27)
$225
"How can we as humans on Earth experience God’s Love? God’s glory is expressed in Nature and as God IS love, so Nature IS love. It nurtures and energizes my soul and whole being and so this is why I’m so comfortable and peaceful in Nature. It is as if God is holding and hugging me. I feel this love enveloping me especially when my favorite pink gladiolas decide to bloom for a 2nd time this year, in December. Gladiolas are such cheery flowers which always lift my spirits. Pink is the color of affection, and of new and blossoming love. Pink is the other color of Valentine’s Day, besides red. Pink Gladiolas sound like a match made in Heaven. Mother Nature thinks of everything!"
-
"Naptime" by Donna Lovelace-Flora, Photography, 20x16 (framed 23x16)
$275
"There is nothing I love more than having the whole beach to myself, where I can sit quietly on the soft red sand in the ocean breeze, listening to the waves rhythmically crashing, and watching the tiny sanderlings scurry back and forth along the edge of the seafoam. This is Mother Nature in action, where she nurtures everything and everyone on the beach ensuring they are cared for and loved, including me. On this day as I sat in the sand, I observed one little sanderling alone, and napping. Normally I see these little sea birds running tirelessly back and forth along the edge of the ocean, as if they never rest! As a mother beams with love for her own children when they peacefully nap, my heart swelled up with love as I protectively watched this perfect little ball of feathers at rest, so peaceful and calm. Nature’s love is all encompassing."
-
"The Garden Angel" by Donna Lovelace-Flora, Photography, 12x24 (framed 15x27)
$225
"When I look out my dining window, I can see God’s Messenger across the street, facing west and praying over the beautiful flowers in my neighbor’s garden. She radiates with Heavenly love as she glows in the late afternoon sun. She looks lovingly down towards Mother Earth, spreading God’s wondrous peace and love over all living things, including me, as I lie on the ground and look up at her and marvel at her beauty and serenity."
-
"He loves me, he loves me not…" by Svetlana Shorey, Oil, 14x20
$1,200
"Girls, since they are gentle and romantic beings, turn to this fortune-telling source to appease their souls. Talk to a daisy, not a girlfriend. But, if the last petal torn off from the daisy speaks of an unfortunate thing, they do not always get upset, they simply pluck another daisy and seek to learn from it what they are eager to hear."
-
"Red Tulips" by Svetlana Shorey, Oil, 17x23
$1,200
"I see tulips as living torches made of fire-like scarlet petals on slender stems. They smell like honey but you do not dive with your nose into them. Beware, that in the bright yellow centers there are soot-filled stamens hidden inside. I guess that tulips love to joke with us."
-
"Garden Walk" by Svetlana Shorey, Oil, 20x24
$1,200
"Ask me if I love taking a garden walk on a sunny day admiring the colors and aroma of flowers of any size and shape. I say yes! Ask me if I love painting them…"
-
"The Canyon's Colors" by Desiray Blackburn, Acrylic Pour with Embellishments, 11x14
$150
"Many years ago I was given the gift of traveling to the world’s largest gem show in the desert in Quartzite, Arizona. I could only see brown in every direction. The rains came and the desert came to life, the most beautiful, vivid colors you have ever seen. I remember those colors as though they too are part of my soul."
-
"The Galaxy Far, Far Away" by Desiray Blackburn, Acrylic Pour with Embellishments, 11x14
$150
"As the space program is gearing up I remember a time when my Dad and I would look up at the sky at night and he taught all the constellations. His complete journey into space never happened, but I take a journey there myself. I was thinking of my Dad, a veteran, who always told me to look ahead."
-
"My Love of the Ocean" by Desiray Blackburn, Acrylic Pour with Embellishments, 20x20
$225
"I started painting this to share my Love for the Ocean. I started with a clear mind and thought of all the times I have laid in the ocean and came to shore, refreshed and re-energize. This painting has been a work in progress for a few months. As I was painting the waves in, I was reminded that every single thing in the ocean has a reason and a purpose. I put the Dolphins in as a cornerstone of the Natural Beauty of the Sea."

FOLLOW ON INSTAGRAM"I believe that I am not my past nor my future. I am only truly present in the Now. I can only exist in the moment... but... as far as labels go, my name is Bodil Haheim, mostly called BB, short for Be Brave. I was born in Norway but changed my home country when I became an American Citizen in 2020. I believe in love because I was raised by fear and anger and it doesn’t work well. I believe in forgiveness because releasing tension and sadness makes room for peace in the moment. My life has been healing up to this point in time and I am using Acrylic and Mixed Media to express how I feel on canvas. I am also expressing myself through music. The human experience can surely turn magical when you go within and change yourself."

Christine Broussard
Christine Broussard
ateliervenusdecor.comWho am I ?
I am a decorative artist. I create faux finishes with Venetian plaster and Trompe l’oeil details on supports such as floor coverings, columns, doors and furniture in the Washington DC area. Later on I dived into the sacred world of iconography discovering the joy in using the millenary medium of egg tempera, casein and gold leaf.
To draw the extraordinary life of saints and prophets it is a must to know more about the reasons of their peregrination! The result is a profound enrichment on design, styles, customs and history. As a passionate traveler, keeping travel diaries, sketchbooks or Carnet de Voyage to record sceneries and stories using watercolor. This is my way to travel back into time when turning the pages of these colorful journals.
Acrylic is my other medium of choice. I used acrylic to enliven a 5ft. loggerhead turtle with the Greek theme: “The Winged Victory of Samothrace.” Follow PalmCoastTurtleTrail.com to discover the public places where the turtles are located and enjoy seeing mine in Bunnell at the Justice Department.
While painting I am dancing with the stars. Brush strokes and colors fly on my canvas! The uniqueness of my work comes from the glowing colors that define its subject with a touch of surprise.
Art is Life, Life is Art!
May this colorful expression of my art enliven the viewers heart, spirit and brighten their day. -
Deborah Boyd
Deborah Boyd
deborahboydgallery.com"I discovered I was an artist late in life. My mother was very talented, but never found the time to pick up a brush. I remember telling her that if I had her talent, I would never stop painting. Like most mothers, she always told me I had talent, I just needed to try. After her death - as if to defy her - I took an oil painting class. I came home and showed my husband the finished painting and said, "I think I can paint". I never looked back. At age 58, I discovered the artist in me. I have no formal training which has afforded me the freedom to experiment with a variety of techniques. I currently live in Daytona Beach Shores with my husband, author Marshall Boyd."
Deborah's award-winning art is brought to life through a kaleidoscope of color, inspired by the world around her. Recent work is characterized by vibrant colors and with a touch of Florida in every painting

"I always feel my best when I’m out in nature, whether working in the garden, exploring parks, walking on a tree lined path in the woods, or walking along the ocean surf on the beach. My high school choir trip to Galveston, TX, got me hooked on the ocean, but it was not until my husband and I moved to Ormond by the Sea in 2014, that my interest in photography really began. All of a sudden, I was surrounded by the amazing bio diversity of this area, whether volunteering or enjoying some R&R. When I dropped my little pocket camera in the sand lens-down while capturing snaps of hatching baby loggerhead turtles from our adopted nest, I realized it was time to get a better camera, and that photography would be my artform of expression, instead of a means to an end. I’m intuitively drawn to a scene that makes me smile, so I’m grateful that I can share that same sense of joy, beauty and wonder of our delicate world with others."

Grace Senior-Morandi
Grace Senior-Morandi
Grace was born in Colombia, South America. One of her uncles was a professional builder/designer of parade floats and event stages, and one day she was asked to assist him. It was then she became interested in creating and expressing ideas using color. She took private classes in drawing and painting and won her first national art contest at age 13. After those school years, her art took a backseat to her professional career and motherhood, and she didn't paint again until after retirement. She has studied with great teachers in the US, Mexico, South America and Europe to learn different techniques and materials, and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others. She uses many layers of paint, using gel mediums, gesso and other materials, to create visual textures without a previous conceived idea. Though she is not a realistic painter, she tries to keep some realism in the compositions. She believes art is the expression of inner feelings, not a copy of existing objects. Grace's artwork is in private collections in the US, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Greece, Panama, Puerto Rico, India, Scotland and Spain. She prices her original artwork reasonably to provide the opportunity to acquire the work and fulfill her desire to be in many homes and businesses worldwide.

Kelley Batson-Howard
kbatsonart.comKelley is a life-taught abstract artist born in Alabama and transplanted to Central Florida. She realized her dream to be an artist later in her life so she is a prolific producer of paintings because of her enthusiasm about getting to create. She loves using texture, shapes, pattern, transparent paints, and brilliant color in a combination that makes the viewer want to reach out and touch. Being a very tactile person, the artist loves seeing how the paints and different mediums flow together on the canvas. She works intuitively and lets the Spirit guide what happens. She may start with a particular color palette but the rest is Divinely guided as the paintings come together into something she recognizes from her mind’s eye. Her biggest desire as an artist is for the paintings she creates to give the viewer a glimpse of God's magnificence and glory while uplifting their spirit. When they see her paintings, Kelley hopes the viewer is reminded of a pleasant place in time-something happy and familiar for them-a fond memory or a special place they recall. Her current work is shifting from abstract landscapes to paintings of bold color and shapes that lend themselves to a more modern, midcentury feel.

Lois Berardi
loisberardi.comLois Berardi was born in New York City and spent her early years there and Boston. During that time her artistic skills were nurtured by her father, a professional musician, and recognized by her teachers. Now, many years later, Lois’ inspiration for her paintings comes from an appreciation of the natural beauty of her surroundings, especially the greater Ormond Beach area. Her interpretations of water and other nature scenes are characterized by a gentle touch with interspersion of intense colors. Her portraits are candid and expressive. Lois moved to the Daytona area in the late 1950’s. Her formal education and life’s work was in the mental health field, primarily in educational settings. Now retired and living in Ormond Beach, she expresses herself artistically through painting. Lois is a former student of Florida artist Beau Wild. Additionally, she has studied with Eric Wiegardt, of Ocean Park, Washington and Tim Wilmot, of the United Kingdom. Lois’s acrylic and watercolor paintings are in the homes of several private collectors in U.S.. She is an artists’ advocate, serving over the years on various arts related community committees. nchagoodart.weebly.com"I love being an artist. My pieces are abstract and take you and many journeys of your own. My inspiration comes from people, things, places I love. Certain things stay in my mind and so I use them as my muse. They tell stories of things that happened, people and places my stories or emotions I share these with the viewer. We are all alike and suffer, enjoy, are happy, sad we all have stories. I hope the viewer will see a story of their own in my pieces."
NC Hagood is an abstract artist, who works in acrylics and mixed media. Her pieces are powerful and have ethereal quality to them. Hagood was born in Ecuador, South America. She arrived in New York City at the early age of five. Here she was influenced by her brother, an artist and the city itself. As she was growing up, she would watch her brother in the studio, he was her first mentor. Hagood fell in love with art and her brother, and the city provided a muse and much to ponder. Her work in the legal field exposed her to very high and low emotions, this evolved in her desire to capture such in her art. Hagood studied with various mentors and developed into a contemporary artist. It is apparent she favors abstract figures with glimpses of the characteristics and aspects of life and all its emotions. Hagood has received numerous awards and is affiliated with many organizations and galleries throughout the State of Fl. Her studio is located in New Smyrna Beach where she resides

lanasgallery.com"My first attempts at painting happened while I was in high school. At that time, I lived with my parents in the former Soviet Union, where I received my education and cultural influence. The most common painting mediums I could find then in local stores were gouache, tempera, and watercolors, which were used then broadly in traditional Russian decorative paintings and iconography. Over the years, I have found this to be quite an influence in my artistic career. After relocation to the US, I practiced decorative and mural painting in private residences, children’s facilities, and other offices. I also taught art privately and at the independent day school, Ezra Academy, Woodbridge, CT. At present, thanks to the opportunities of internet study, I focus on perfecting my fine art skills and developing more sophisticated styles by attending art seminars and art critiques. Recently I moved from Connecticut to Winter Park, Florida and am practicing live figure sketching and painting En Plein Air with my friends/artists. I LOVE it! I believe that we can grow as artists only through consistent communication and sharing our talents."

"My art reflects my love of animals, nature, and this precious planet. I find power in nature and art to inspire, heal, and nurture. Much of my art uses realism to connect the viewer with the subjects, many of which are threatened or endangered animals. When I paint these creatures, my love for them grows deeper. I create my art in the hopes of inspiring and educating the viewer to the vulnerability of these species. It is my way of bringing awareness to the plight of these magnificent creatures, gifts to us in this world."

Walter Osteen
Walter Osteen
Wally is a mostly self-taught oil painter. His work is inspired by 35 years of living on and observing the timeless old Florida beauty of the Tomoka River and 55 years of surfing along the beaches and inlets of Florida’s east coast. Wally’s process for studio painting is time consuming. It consists of applying multiple layers of thick and thin oil paint to the canvas over a period of several months. This slower pace allows the painting to develop and evolve beyond his initial concept into something that is hopefully deeper and more meaningful; thus, becoming a sort of collaboration between the painting and the painter. The final goal is the creation of an image which the viewer will find both interesting and compelling. Wally’s paintings and prints are highly prized by surfers and non-surfers alike and may be found in many private and public collections, including his painting on permanent display at Daytona Beach International Airport.
