 rney north to visit the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens in Jacksonville. In
  addition to its extensive\, important encyclopedic collection spanning ma
 ny cultures and time periods\, the Cummer is currently featuring a fine tr
 aveling exhibition of one of America’s most well-known artists. <b>Andrew 
 Wyeth at Kuerner Farm: The Eye of the Earth</b> is a rare chance to see th
 is master of 20th century American art. This exhibition contains 40 works 
 by Wyeth including some of the artist’s most iconic masterpieces from Kuer
 ner Farm as well as exciting works drawn from Andrew and Betsy Wyeth’s pri
 vate collection\, including works that have never been on public display. 
 After our self-guided tour of this special exhibition (with free time to w
 alk through the gardens or enjoy other exhibitions on display)\, we'll tra
 vel a little up the road to Amelia Island for lunch at one of Fernandina B
 each’s many delightful restaurants and have time to explore a bit of this 
 historic old Florida waterfront town with his Victorian mansions and islan
 d charm. Lunch destination to be determined with options to explore and de
 cide your own preferred dining options as there as several in the downtown
  area as well as many shopping opportunities.\n\nOur chartered bus will de
 part from OMAM promptly at 9:00am and will return back to OMAM by 6:00pm. 
 The (non-refundable) trip registration fee ($60 OMAM Museum/Guild members\
 ; $70 Future Members) covers transportation and Ruth's discussions. Partic
 ipants are responsible for paying for their own meals\, admissions\, and o
 ther expenses. Since the Cummer Museum is part of the North American Recip
 rocal Museum (NARM) Association\, our museum's premier-level members are a
 ble show their current OMAM Membership Card and receive free admission. Th
 ose without NARM benefits will need to pay admission to each institution u
 pon arrival ($20 for adults\; $15 for seniors and military with valid ID).
