 >\n\nWhether you’re a beginner or you have felted before and want to use t
 he 6 weeks to explore your personal style and projects with some guidance 
 this class is the perfect opportunity to do that. In this class series\, f
 ocus on wet felting techniques and explore different ways to use/create wi
 th fiber. Let your imagination run wild as you learn to make wall hangings
 \, vessels\, felted rock rugs\, scarves\, bags\, lights and more while exp
 erimenting with different techniques and materials. Beginners learn new te
 chniques\, while experienced felters can try new ways to approach old meth
 ods. The first 3 lessons will focus on materials and techniques\, creating
  small projects. The last 3 weeks will focus on individual projects with g
 uidance and suggestions from the instructor. \n\n<h4>COURSE DETAILS:</h4>
 \n<em>Materials are included for the first 3 weeks. Additional materials w
 ill be available for purchase for the last 3 weeks\, based on the project 
 the student chooses.</em>\n\n<strong>WEEK 1:</strong> Introduction to wet 
 felting wool layout options and wool choices. How to calculate shrinkage a
 nd successfully “full” your sample to create a smooth finished piece of fe
 lt. Make samples to use for coasters or small wall hangings.\n \n<strong>W
 EEK 2:</strong> Introduction to using resists. A resist is used in felting
  to make three dimensional objects from a flat pattern. Make a felted rock
  planter or a vessel.\n \n<strong>WEEK 3:</strong> Introduction to mixing 
 materials. The technique used in Nuno felting bonds loose fiber (merino wo
 ol) into a sheer fabric\, such as silk gauze or cotton cheese cloth creati
 ng a lightweight felt. Experiment with different embellishments such as st
 ring\, yarn\, silk/bamboo/viscous roving\, wool curls\, or silk paper to m
 ake samples.\n \n<strong>WEEKS 4\, 5 & 6:</strong> During the first 3 week
 s we’ll talk about your plans for a project(s) and figure out what you nee
 d for supplies to create it. Using the fundamentals learned in the first 3
  weeks and combining techniques your possibilities are limitless! Have fun
