X-WR-CALDESC:In this one-day colored pencil workshop instructed by Kathi Da
 rby\, we will draw a Scottish highland cow on drafting film and will creat
 e a dynamic and textured piece using colored pencils. Creative techniques 
 on both sides of the film with the addition of solvents will render the wi
 ld hair and personality of the subject\, as well as allow all the subtle t
 extures and details of the fur and eyes. This project is designed for stud
 ents from beginner to intermediate artists and is a fun take on a popular 
 subject. Due to the varying rate at which each student may work\, some stu
 dents might not complete the project in class but will leave with all the 
 knowledge needed to complete the piece at home. Students are responsible f
