Lecture and demonstration of how to cre ate designs that express/interpret titles or themes

Floral Design Study is a nine unit series with the goal of developing an understanding of the art of flower arranging for both th e home and for flower shows. It is a two-part series consisting of six cla sses covering basic floral design followed by three more advanced units wh ich focus on creative floral design.

Each class begins with lecture and demonstration throughout the morning. The i nstructor will create floral designs as she explains the required material s and techniques. Students are then given time after lunch to create their own designs followed by a discussion of each. Most units are taught by ~~Penny Decker\, NGC Master Judge and Instructor.~~
