Unit 5

Flora l Design Study is a nine unit series with the goal of developing an unders tanding of the art of flower arranging for both the home and for flower sh ows. It is a two-part series consisting of six classes covering basic flor al design followed by three more advanced units which focus on creative fl oral design.

Each class begins with lectu re and demonstration throughout the morning. The instructor will create fl oral designs as she explains the required materials and techniques. Studen ts are then given time after lunch to create their own designs followed by a discussion of each. Most units are taught by Penny Decker\, NGC Master Judge and Instructor.

Floral Design Study is open to everyone\, rega rdless of Garden Club membership. The only requirement is the willingness to learn!
