  with parents and grandparents who were mostly native. Her grandfather was
  a Clemson grad in Entomology and worked in citrus for the Florida Plant B
 oard (now the Dept. of Agriculture) and a mother who was an amateur landsc
 ape architect.  After a career at Wake Forest University as the director o
 f a performing arts series\, Lillian retired to the home her parents built
  in DeLeon Springs\, where she cares for her mother's landscaping\, contin
 ues her sewing interests\, and practices what she is learning as a Master 
 Gardener. She is also a wife\, mother\, and grandmother of eight.</p>
