 ayering\, scraping\, mark-making and geometric shapes before beginning an 
 original painting.\n\nOn the second day\, students will build on their pai
 ntings by adding layers\, texture\, repeated shapes\, expressive lines and
  contrasting colors while learning how to create a focal point and bring b
 alance to a composition. We’ll also explore the important process of editi
 ng—when to add\, when to simplify and how to know when a painting feels fi
 nished. No previous painting experience is necessary.\n\n<strong>All suppl
 ies are included\, and each student will take home an original 16 x 20 acr
 ylic painting.</strong>\n\nTUITION: $115 Current Members\; $135 Future Mem
