 <em>Rob began art early in life\, as a self-taught artist who later studie
 d at the Art Students League in New York and took university-level art cou
 rses during a career of teaching in the humanities at the University of To
 ledo. His landscape paintings are inspired by time spent in the Appalachia
 n region\, Santa Fe\, NM\,  France\, Italy\, and his current home in Flori
 da. Working in a blended impressionistic-realistic style\, he favors paste
 l\, acrylic\, and oil mediums. His creative process begins with 'plein air
 ' studies and reference photos\, later developed in the studio. Whether dr
 awn from real places and objects or shaped by imagination\, his work aims 
 to evoke emotional truth through mood\, light\, and color\, inviting viewe
 rs to see beyond the surface of the scene.</em></p>\n\n<p style='line-heig
 ht:1.25\;'><span style='color:hsl(0\,0%\,0%)\;'>Admission to Art Walk is a
 lways FREE\, and you can ride the complimentary shuttle to visit all stops
