 e unit series with the goal of developing an understanding of the art of f
 lower arranging for both the home and for flower shows. It is a two-part s
 eries consisting of six classes covering basic floral design followed by t
 hree more advanced units which focus on creative floral design.</p><p styl
 e='line-height:1.25\;'>Each class begins with lecture and demonstration th
 roughout the morning. The instructor will create floral designs as she exp
 lains the required materials and techniques. Students are then given time 
 after lunch to create their own designs followed by a discussion of each. 
 Most units are taught by <strong>Penny Decker</strong>\, NGC Master Judge
