X-WR-CALDESC:In this two-day workshop\, Christine Peloquin teaches the fund
 amentals of collage\, drawing\, and painting while challenging artists to 
 unlock and find their inner voice. Her teaching technique caters to the in
 dividual artist and their level of expertise\, so she has techniques for b
 oth beginners and advanced artists who want to enhance their skill sets. T
 he instructor will address working with papers\, fabrics\, found objects\,
  past artwork\, pencil and charcoal drawing\, and acrylic painting. Studen
 ts have the option to play with gelli plates\, stamps and monoprinting on 
 papers in addition to collage. The materials used will be the choice of ea
 ch student\, but students are encouraged to incorporate some of their own 
 prior artwork into new pieces. The objective of the workshop is to explore
  new mixed media techniques and excavate each student’s authentic voice in
  their art. Two drawing methods will be taught using the student's own pho
 tos - how to graph a photo for any size free hand drawing and a tracing me
 thod that works well for small pieces and individuals who are intimidated 
 or new to drawing. Learn the fundamentals of collage on the first day and 
 then spend the second day drawing and painting over those collages. The in
 structor will do drawing demonstrations on the first day so that you know 
 what to expect and what kind of photo reference to bring. She will work in
 dividually with each person trying to get their projects to a place that t
