Janett Van Wicklen and Memorial Gardens earn Beautification Award from the Chamber
Janett Van Wicklen recently celebrated her 24-year anniversary with the City of Ormond
Beach, and for 23 of those years she has served as the Garden Artisan for the
exotic three-acre Memorial Gardens at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum, 78 East
Granada Blvd. The Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce recently honored Van Wicklen
(pictured) and the Art Museum with
their monthly Beautification Award.
The Memorial Gardens opened in 1946 and is known as a beautiful hideaway under a dense tree canopy with trails, streams, a waterfall, flower beds, park benches and a gazebo. The garden is the site of many weddings and family events.
