The Museum is open seven (7) days a week except for major holidays such as New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (and the day after), and Christmas Day. If you anticipate a visit to the Museum near a holiday, please call (386) 676-3347 to confirm which days we will be open. The Museum is also closed during change of exhibitions. The Museum is open from 10:00AM until 4:00PM Eastern Time on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The hours for Saturday and Sunday are noon until 4:00PM Eastern Time.How to Reserve the Gardens or Gazebo The Gardens and Gazebo are owned and managed by the City of Ormond Beach. Reservations to use the Gardens or Gazebo for special events such as a wedding must be made through the City of Ormond Beach's Leisure Department. Call them at (386) 676-3250. The Museum is located at 78 East Granada Boulevard, Ormond Beach, Florida, USA 32176, which is situated between Halifax Drive on the west and Seton Trail on the east. There is a traffic signal at East Granada Boulevard and Halifax Drive. Get a detailed map from your location to ours using Yahoo!® mapping services at www.yahoo.com. Parking is available along Halifax Drive and in the lot at the south end of the Gardens. The parking lot can be entered from either Halifax Drive or Seton Trail. Follow the paved pathway through the Gardens or use the sidewalk along Halifax Drive to reach the south entrance of the Museum. If driving from west to east on I-4, take I-95 northbound from I-4 and proceed approximately 7 miles to the Ormond Beach/Granada Boulevard exit, which is exit 268 (old exit 88.) Granada Boulevard is also known as State Route 40 (SR40.) Make a right turn from the exit ramp onto Granada Boulevard. Skip to the second paragraph below for additional instructions.If approaching via I-95 from the north (southbound on I-95), take the same exit, exit 268 (old exit 88), and prepare to proceed eastbound by making a left turn from the exit ramp onto Granada Boulevard. Proceed east on Granada Boulevard approximately 5 miles to 78 East Granada Boulevard. Please note that you MUST cross the Halifax River (Intracoastal Waterway). The Museum is located at the second traffic signal after crossing the Halifax River, which is at the intersection of Halifax Drive and Granada Boulevard. There is a Food Lion Supermarket directly across from the Museum to the north and a U.S. Postal Service branch diagonally opposite on the northwest corner. Billy's Tap Room restaurant is just to the west of the Museum. Get a detailed driving map to the Museum using Yahoo!® mapping services at www.yahoo.com. From US1 (north- or southbound), proceed to State Route 40 (Granada Boulevard) and continue eastbound on Granada Boulevard approximately 1 mile to 78 East Granada Boulevard. See the instructions in the paragraph immediately above for landmarks and links to a map. From either northbound or southbound State Route A1A (Atlantic Drive), proceed to State Route 40 (Granada Boulevard) and go west approximately one-quarter mile to the first traffic signal, which is Halifax Drive. The Museum will be on your left. We suggest you turn left onto Halifax Drive and use the parking lot at the south end of the Gardens. County-wide bus service, called Votran, is available near the north entrance to the Museum. Routes 1A and 1B serve the Museum directly, and each route runs hourly between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday through Saturday. Service is also available on Route 1 from 6:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday. Bus schedules are available in most supermarkets, hotel lobbies, public libraries and at the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce, 165 W. Granada Blvd.You may telephone Votran at (386) 761-7700 to confirm route and schedule information. Bus schedules and maps are also available on-line at Votran's website. The Museum is a short walk from Atlantic Avenue (State Route A1A.) Atlantic Avenue is served by Votran Trolley Service seven days a week during the spring and summer months. Both the Museum and Gardens are wheelchair accessible according to The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Use the Halifax Drive loading zone to unload wheelchairs. A ramp leads to the Museum's south entrance from the loading zone. Please do not leave your vehicle parked in the loading zone. There is a parking lot just to the south of loading zone in which to park your vehicle.The Gardens have wide, paved walkways that are wheelchair Other cultural activities in the area include the professional productions presented by The Seaside Music Theater, amateur plays at The Daytona Playhouse and Daytona Beach Community College, unique movies sponsored by Cinematique of Daytona, musical offerings from the Daytona Symphony Society, and the biennial Florida International Festival. Billy's Tap Room on Granada Boulevard, is one-half block west of OMAM. Open most days for lunch and dinner, Billy's is a local favorite with a varied menu and courteous service. Numerous fast food and specialty restaurants can also be found on Granada Boulevard and Atlantic Ave (A1A). Ask a Museum volunteer or one of the staff members for directions or recommendations. The Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce also has restaurant and attraction information available at their office, which is located at 165 W. Granada Boulevard. Hotels are plentiful along State Route A1A, known locally as Atlantic Avenue. Visit the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce or the Daytona Beach Convention & Visitors' Bureau websites for links to area hotels, attractions and restaurants, as many hotels offer restaurants that are open to the public.
