VanGo Frequently Asked Questions What is VanGo? VanGo is the mobile component of Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens' ArtReach programming that brings a museum field trip experience to elementary school children in Volusia and Flagler Counties. VanGo offers access to original, contemporary art exhibits and multi-disciplinary art activities presented by our Teaching Artist Sandy Fraser, MA, who has 10 years experience in Volusia County Schools. The only program of its kind in Florida, VanGo will cruise into our communities to educate over 10,000 children a year in the visual arts and to inspire creative thinking everywhere! How does VanGo work? Teaching Artist Sandy Fraser brings VanGo
to your classroom with a van full of quality art works. Ms. Fraser displays
the art on portable walls in a room at the site. Classes and groups that
schedule the program receive a presentation of the museum exhibit, followed
by an interactive art lesson based on
state standards for art, language arts and mathematics Hours: Tuesday-Friday during regular school season, August-June. Day and after school program times are available. How much does it cost?
