Biennial College Challenge - 2006

March 10, 2006 through April 23, 2006

The College Challenge Biennial will open for exhibition March 10 and continue through April 23, 2006 at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens, ( OMAM ) 78 E. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL.

The work featured will represent juried 2D and 3D selections from four regional fine art academic programs including Daytona Beach Community College, Flagler College, Florida School of the Arts, and Stetson University.

“Historically, this has been one of the museum’s most anticipated shows. The work is so remarkably diverse and often very forward thinking and experimental in its execution”, comments OMAM Executive Director Ann Burt.

Overall, $1,500.00 in scholarship and prizes will be awarded in four categories by Ormond Memorial Art Museum’s Exhibition Committee. Award winners will be announced at the exhibition’s opening reception on Friday, March 10, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. Participating students will earn a museum group exhibition on their resume.
