"Multiple Forms: A Journey Through Sculpture" January 17, 2003 through February 23, 2003 Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens is proud to announce the opening of its next exhibition, Multiple Forms: A Journey Through Sculpture. A show dedicated to eight prominent Florida sculptors, the exhibition emphasizes sculpture in a wide range of media and forms. Visitors will experience over 50 sculptures created in alabaster, bronze, cement, clay, glass, granite, limestone or marble. The exhibition opens with a public reception in conjunction with the Starry Starry Night Gallery Walk on Friday, January 17, 2003, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Members of the press interested in attending the opening reception should telephone Erin Friedberg or Ann Burt at the Museum (676-3347) prior to the event to R.S.V.P. Saturday, January 25, 2003 10:00 -11:30 a.m. “Sculpt with Colorful, Bendable Wire and Model Magic.” Instructed by Linda King, for children, grades 1-5. $12 Museum members; $15 nonmembers Saturday, February 1, 2003 1:00 - 2:30p.m. “Sculpt a Colorful Character Pursuing Your Favorite Activity.” Instructed by Linda King for teens, grades 6 and up. $15 Museum members; $18 nonmembers Saturday, February 8, 2003 1:00 - 3:00p.m. “Create a Caricature Out of an Armature Covered in Plaster.” Instructed by Linda King for Adults. $15 Museum members $18 nonmembers.
