Luck as we know it is no doubt, the result of some Cosmic law in action that we are not yet congnizant of, but will some day be able to make practical and intelligent use of. Everything was first a thought, hence nothing could come into manifestation without Mind action, and according to Law and Order.

God's promise is that the physical and the spiritual shall be united as one and there shall be no more death.

This is an actual scene from World War One. The enemy had torpedoed a hospital ship and amongst the wreckage washed ashore we found this nurse who had made the supreme sacrifice in line of duty. We do not always realize that women as well as men have at all times been willing to sacrifice their lives for the ideal of our democratic way of life.

They have refused to cooperate with Cosmic law.

They have turned over the hand of God. He can no longer shelter them in the palm of His hand, so they pass on over its back as physical entities to be lost in the fog of oblivion. It were better for them had they never been born. They have been of no real value to their time.

We should remember that Jesus brought his wonderful message into the most licentious age the world has ever known. At that time men were so unmindful of God's laws that they were sowing the seed of self-indulgence which produced the crop we know as the downfall of the Roman Empire. Let us heed this lesson as we now build our "NEW WORLD."

The type of mystic whose message was to be superseded by the greater, more valuable and more practical one given by Jesus of Nazareth.

"As many as are lead by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."

The more closely we follow those intuitive suggestions that come to us--the voice of the Spirit within, the more clearly will we be able to see life's pathway. "Out of the heart are the issues or sources of life."

"The heavens and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." -- Matthew 24:35

The spiritual reality, more so now than in any period of the world's history. We are entering a truly Christian era.

The Kingdom of Heaven is not a place in some distant realm of fancy but a state of consciousness to which we as sons and daughter of our Heavenly Father can attain to here on earth. Our faiths and beliefs are, as it were, stepping-stones to that state of mind and heart known as realization--a state of mind where we know the TRUTH and this knowledge has made us FREE.

One cannot follow the history of evolution as we know it, without being conscious of the fact that there are two types of evolution progressing side by side, one physical, the other spiritual. Seeing this, one must believe that God's purpose is in the end, to bring these together so that they will culminate in a perfect eternal being fitted to cooperate with Him forever. Then will be fulfilled God's promise as given through Jesus: There will be no more weeping, no more sorrow, no more death, for man and God will be in perfect accord. We were created to be immortal and God will persist until we gain that goal of Immortality.

"God said, Let there be light."

The greatest words God ever spoke.

These words brought into being the great energy that made possible the evolution of the simplest form of matter until it became human mammal with a brain that can think abstract thought and realize his Maker.

We cannot be separated from Him for has He not said "I am the Light of the World; I am Life."

Would you know the truth? This is it: there is in Nature no death, only eternal life for Life is God.

There is in parts of the East, a legend to the effect that Jesus, when He returned after completing His education as a Rabbai, intended to function as other religious teachers of Jewish Palestine usually did... However, while He was out superintending the workers in [His father's] lands one day, He saw the Romans loot the town, burn part of it and carry off His two sisters to be held for ransom. He had come to the "turn of the way." It was the turning point of His career... He went to see His cousin John... After talking with John He realized the value of His own education and how it fitted Him to cooperate with His Heavenly Father in building a spiritual civilization in which Security is eternal. So he was baptized by John and started on His life's mission. It was then He heard in His ear the voice saying: "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased", which eventually fruited in the ideal of of a democratic form of government and the higher standards of living we enjoy today. Some people write their autobiography while others have biographies written about them after they are gone. Few if any have ever painted their own obituary. Like the other 60 paintings in this series this too is symbolic. Malcolm Fraser was a man well qualified by temperament, technical training and background to be the channel or instrument through which a series of paintings such as these could come into manifestation. He maintained an open and inquiring mind to the end of a long life full of adventures. [Abridged version]

This framed, original oil painting was presented to the City of Ormond Beach, Florida, to hang in the War Memorial Art Gallery along with the other Malcolm Fraser pictures, by the Fawcett Family of Canton, Ohio in 1966. It was painted several years before Fraser began the series of symbolic paintings which hang in the Ormond Beach Gallery.
