The Malcolm Fraser paintings are getting a fresh face through a generous grant from Bright House Network. Steve McLachlin, of The Art of Restoration, will do the restoration work.

This series of fifty-six original paintings, the central theme of which is SPIRIT IS LIFE'S ONLY SIGNIFICANT REALITY, was presented to the City of Ormond Beach, Florida, by the artist as a War Memorial to those who served in World Wars One and Two. The series represents fifty years of work by the artist.

We hope to document some of the "before" and "after" photos on our website.  We are sure you will enjoy the facelift Steve McLachlin is giving to the paintings.  An announcement on our home page will inform you of additions or changes to the photo documentary, and provide a link to the photos.

Ormond Memorial Art Museum gratefully thanks Bright House Network and Steve McLachlin for their contributions and efforts to this restoration project.
