    Closed on major holidays
    and between exhibitions

Museum Admission:
    A $2.00 per person donation
    is requested.
    Museum members, senior
    citizens (60 and older) and
    children admitted at no charge.

The Gardens are available for your enjoyment at no charge and are open from sunrise to sunset daily.

Week 1 - June 11 - 15th           Aqua Art

We are celebrating our wonderful neighbor, the Sea! Take home art in water color, acrylic & pastel painting, collage, sand/shell creations and jewelry all inspired by the ocean habitat and it's residents.

Week 2 - June 18 - 22nd         Theater Week

Children create original stage set, props and take home puppet characters for Puppet show performance of Melvin's Melodrama. Week culminates in live performance, DVD of final show available.

Week 3 - July 9 - 13th               Mod, Mod, Modern Week

Kandinsky and Klee, Modigliani and Moore, Picasso and Pollock will all make an appearance. Children create two and three dimensional expressionist, abstract and pop art as explored by the modern art masters. Painting, printmaking, sculpture. Self-inspired mediums/styles.

Week 4 - July 17 - 21st               Emmons Cottage Fairyland

"Emmons Cottage" is a beautifully restored "cracker house" (c. 1885) which is sited in the Ormond Gardens. It was moved from Beach Street to the Museum's garden setting in 1998. Children will create turn-of-the-century crafts, plein air paintings and fairy houses constructed from natural garden materials with Emmons as inspiration.
