Museum Admission:
    A $2.00 per person donation
    is requested.
    Museum members, senior

    children admitted at no charge.

The Gardens are available for your enjoyment at no charge and are open from sunrise to sunset daily.

2006 ArtReach

Week 1 – June 12 – 16th        EcoArt

Our Earth is fragile and the artist is in a great position to bring attention to it. We’ll create take home environmental art through drawing, painting, sculpture, jewelry, mobiles, wind chimes and wall hangings.

Week 2 – June 19 – 23rd        Flying, Floating, Racing, Boating

We are a community that loves speed; in the air; on a race track or at sea. Spend the week creating boats, cars, planes and trains, culminating in a visit to Daytona International Speedway.

Week 3 – July 10 – 14th        Motion and Still Photography Fun

We’ll spend the week creating a movie short starring art camp participants using stop motion, Claymation video and live characters. Students will learn hands-on “Old School” film setting and development techniques. Supplies to create a pin hole camera and take home self produced and developed image included. Visiting Crealdé photography instructors: John Manchester and Rick Lang.

Week 4 – July 17 – 23rd       Castles, Cottages and Condos

We’ll introduce campers to structural and landscape architecture through take home construction projects made from clay, wood, paper, sugar cubes and found objects. Week will include Ormond Trolley tour exploring the history and architecture of Ormond Beach and the Garden’s own Emmons Cottage.
