The PiCATsso Project |
|
Four beautiful cats from the PiCATsso Project, a fundraising-art project to benefit the Halifax Humane Society, have pussy-footed their way into the Museum and are mousing it up at OMAM. The furry, purring pusses are:
Wave Catcher
Fairy Tale Catstle
Purr-suit of Happiness
Poppycat
Local sculptor Harry Messersmith, a former exhibitor and lecturer at OMAM, created 40 identical cats. Each cat was then decorated and named by a local artist, usually in a theme representative of the cat's sponsor.
The kitties are available for adoption on November 22, 2003, at the PiCATsso Party and Auction to be held at The Museum of Arts & Sciences, Daytona Beach.
