The Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens Board of Directors will host their eighth annual fund-raiser, Petals & Palettes: Flight of Fantasy II on Sunday, May 1, 2005.
Held in the air-conditioned comfort of the Museum and lush museum gardens, the event consists of silent and live auctions. Auction items include a vintage Mercedes Benz from Silver Star Import Auto Sales, over $40,000 in jewelry, a large variety of original art works and vacation home getaways.
The afternoon will include hors d' oeuvres, wine and a dinner buffet, provided by the Outback Steakhouse, Ormond Beach. Anticipated attendance is approximately 450 people. Tickets can be purchased by phone for $125.00 per couple by calling The Museum at (386) 676-3347 during regular business hours.
Proceeds from the auctions will benefit Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens, which provides cultural enrichment opportunities through gallery exhibitions, art education and outreach programs for the children and adults of the greater Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach communities.
This year, event organizers are looking to fill funding shortfalls experienced by loss of attendance and programming due to the hurricanes. Proceeds from this fund raiser will be used to offset charitable downturns in 2004 and to provide resources to restore foliage hurricane losses in The Gardens.

As a sponsor you will receive complimentary tickets, be listed on all printed materials, and be recognized during the live auction. If you wish to participate in a sponsorship, please print a sponsorship form, complete it, and return it to The Museum by March 11, 2005, to have your name printed on the invitation. To have your name included on other printed materials, please return the sponsorship form to The Museum no later than Friday, April 8, 2005. When completing the sponsorship form, please specify precisely how you would like your name or company name to appear on the printed materials. If you have any questions, please contact The Museum during regular business hours.
