January 16, 2004
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens is proud to participate in the 15th Annual A Starry Starry Night gallery to gallery walk, a celebration of arts and culture in Ormond Beach.

Ormond Beach is fortunate to have three cultural and historical facilities in close geographical proximity to each other.  Start your gallery walk at any one of the facilities then continue on foot the others.  Plan your visit using our map.  Also visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for driving directions to OMAM and parking options.

Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens presents it's newest exhibition, "Paradise Lost: Environmental Choices", a comparative group exhibition by ten artists.  The exhibition focuses on the sensitive choices between progress and preservation of our local and global environments.  Visit our Current Exhibition page for more information.  Also visit our Gallery Talk/Lecture page for information about the "Paradise Lost" lecture series on Friday, January 23, 2004.

Jazz guitarist Thomas Jones, Jr., better know as Jazzy T, will provide entertainment.

Also at OMAM, Marian Tomblin, author of "The Mystery at Hotel Ormond", will be signing copies of her book - a book to be appreciated by young and old, alike.

Although not a part of Starry Starry Night, but worth adding to your cultural calendar, is a return to OMAM on Saturday, January 17, 2004, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  Author and Chief Music Critic for The Times in London, Richard Morrison, and the London Symphony Orchestra's Managing Director, Clive Gillison, will launch the North American premier of Morrison's book chronicling one hundred year's of LSO history.  The book is titled, "Orchestra: The London Symphony Orchestra: A Century of Triumph and Turbulence," and includes history culled from board minutes to interviews with the musicians.
